Jan Böttger

Jan Böttger is Chief Executive Officer of 365 Sherpas BPI as well as Partner and Member of the European Leadership Team at BPI Group.
He advises companies, associations, institutions and NGOs across all sectors on political and communicative positioning for 365 Sherpas BPI. He also specializes in crisis management, change communications and executive positioning.
Before joining 365 Sherpas (now 365 Sherpas BPI), Jan Böttger held senior positions at Ketchum Pleon (PLEON Kohtes Klewes), most recently as Head of the Berlin Office. There he was responsible for Corporate Communications & Public Affairs. Jan Böttger began his professional career at Media Consulta, where he designed nationwide and Europe-wide campaigns for institutions and associations.
Jan Böttger is a lecturer in Executive Education at Quadriga University Berlin, where he teaches public affairs strategies and instruments. As co-editor of anthologies, he analyzed and evaluated strategies and instruments of political communication in Germany together with political actors, academics and political and communication consultants.
Jan Böttger studied media science, political science and psychology at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena. During this time, he worked in the constituency office of a Member of the Bundestag, in a campaign center during a Bundestag election campaign and initiated the first student congress for political communication in Germany at the time.
