Rahm Emanuel’s Chicago Mayoral Campaign

Bully Pulpit Interactive served as lead digital strategists for Rahm Emanuel’s successful bid for Mayor of Chicago.

On February 22, 2011 Rahm Emanuel was elected with 55% of the vote, giving him the majority needed in order to avoid a March runoff election. In our role as lead digital strategists BPI led a groundbreaking effort which spanned to email communications, social media outreach, design; as well as, advertising and digital media placement. Our team also advised the campaign’s staff on messaging, GOTV and constituency outreach efforts. At the heart of our efforts was a fully integrated offline to online approach with lead media strategists AKPD. Together we worked to synchronize message and placement and shared key metrics which allowed the campaign to implement a state of the art integrated media and segmentation strategy.
